The Opportunity Council is a private, non-profit Community Action Agency serving homeless and low-income families and individuals. Their goal is to help people learn to become self-sufficient. Tall Timber Camp

Tall Timber borders the Glacier Peak Wilderness Area, lush meadows, massive cedars, and glacial rivers are surrounded by towering, snowcapped peaks. Nearby is popular Lake Wenatchee. Since 1957, Tall Timber has provided inspiring camping experiences for people of all ages. Camp provides a chance to get away from the demands and distractions in your life. It provides wholesome fun and exciting activities which stretch and challenge you. It provides solid Biblical teaching. Most of all Tall Timber provides Christian role models: camp staff, Spiritual Leaders, and Counselors who are deeply committed to follow Christ, and seek to share this with you and your kids. This combination provides a catalyst for growth and change that is simply dynamic! Each year, many of our families participate in the Snow Camp, and various youth and adult activities occur during the summer months. A tremendous amount of volunteer hours by both adults and the youth of our church are spent on work projects throughout the year. www.talltimber.org

Mission Aviation Fellowship

Isolation is a problem. There is a direct correlation between living in isolation and chronic poverty and many people living in remote places have never heard the Gospel. Everyone deserves to know Jesus. They believe that everyone—even the isolated—deserves a chance to experience the love of Jesus Christ. So they use aviation, technology, and training because in many places those are the only ways to reach isolated people with Christ’s love. We support missionaries Jonathan and Cindee Raney. www.maf.org

Senegal, Africa

Diagle Village in Senegal, Africa. Beginning in 2023, we are supporting a new mission in Senegal, Africa. In partnership with Mountainview Presbyterian Church in Marysville, WA we are helping support a poor, rural village of Diagle on the edge of the Sahara Desert. They have built a much-needed medical clinic and have recently been adding a second floor for living space. Our contributions will be supporting the doctor, nurse and other staff at the clinic until it is self-sustaining. Mountainview started this mission in 2007 and have been visiting and creating a great partnership.
